When students take action at a local level in schools and communities, they can also have an impact at a broader level. By seeing the results of their actions, students develop a sense of empowerment and confidence in their ability to influence change at the global level as well.
Every child has the right to participate! Encourage your students to step up and exercise their right to an opinion, their right to join groups and to share their ideas with one another.
