Unique international employment opportunities are made available to those individuals dedicated to a career focused on international development issues. International staff work closely with their government counterparts, with other UN family members and with non-governmental organizations in all aspects of programme development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
More than 80 per cent of the organization’s staff members contribute in developing countries, while two thirds of the total international development employees originate from developing countries. Close to 40 per cent of all international staff are women and UNICEF looks towards realizing gender parity.
UNICEF recruits specialists in areas such as Child Protection, Public Health, Nutrition, Education, HIV/AIDS, Human Resources, Finance, Auditing, Water and Sanitation, Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Logistics, Communication, Fundraising, Marketing and Management.
