UNICEF launches new initiative, Water Security for All, to mobilize global support and resources to reach children in water vulnerable hotspots


As schools worldwide struggle with reopening, the latest data from the WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme reveal that 43% of schools around the world lacked access to basic handwashing with soap and water in 2019.

As the country grapples with the impact of a devastating economic and political crisis, we will continue to provide its most vulnerable children, wherever they are, with the humanitarian support they need.
