In the Miketo Internally Displaced Person (IDP) camp in the eastern DRC, families who have fled the ongoing violence in South Kivu province are benefiting from a groundbreaking system of distributing essential supplies. The “Win-win-win” system, as it has been dubbed, is not only a simpler, more efficient way of providing aid, it also empowers families and local communities while benefitting the local economy.

The cultivation, identification and harnessing of great ideas. UNICEF does just that. We take the best of the best, nurture their development, and transform them into life-saving solutions that benefit the world’s most vulnerable children in the world’ most remote and hard-to-reach places.
