UNICEF Canada supports equitable treatment of Canada’s First Nations Children in on-reserve child welfare funding

On February 25, 2013, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal will reconvene a hearing to determine whether the present funding arrangement for the provision of child welfare services to First Nations children and families on reserves is discriminatory.
