A year after the hurricanes – In the Caribbean, UNICEF works on developing resilience in children and communities on islands affected by hurricanes

Half of world’s teens experience peer violence in and around school – UNICEF

Around 150 million students aged 13 to 15 worldwide report having experienced peer violence in and around school, according to a new report released by UNICEF today. Half of students aged 13 to 15 years in Canada (50%) reported being bullied at school at least once in the past couple of months and/or having been involved in a physical fight at least once in the past 12 months.
