2025 Impact Report
To the world, from Canada

Progress is almost always driven by collective action. In 2025, UNICEF Canada supporters across the country showed just how powerful that effort can be.

As some governments scaled back their longstanding commitments to international aid, people across Canada took action. In record numbers and new ways, they chose to support UNICEF Canada, showing extraordinary compassion that reaches children they will never meet and communities they may never visit.

We are pleased to present UNICEF Canada’s Impact Report 2025: To the World, From Canada. These pages reflect what we’ve achieved together for the world’s children over the past year and highlight some of the remarkable people from coast to coast who made this progress possible.

2025 by the numbers

Through the collective action of our supporters across Canada, we were able to:

  • Raise $85.2M to build a better world for every child.
  • Raise $11.3M to assist children and families affected by the war in Ukraine.
  • Mobilize $9.9M for emergencies, including Sudan, Lebanon and Gaza.
  • Raise $1.8M at our galas in Calgary and Halifax, with all proceeds supporting UNICEF’s unrestricted funding to ensure help reaches children wherever the need is greatest.
  • Reach 14.7M children with 23,038 lifesaving Survival Gifts®— representing critical items such as blankets and therapeutic food from the world’s largest humanitarian warehouse and local suppliers.
  • Engage 3,182 Canadian youths as U-Reporters on issues that matter to them, like climate change and mental health, through U-Report, UNICEF’s digital polling platform.

A year of life-changing work for children

Despite the many challenges children faced in 2025, together we helped deliver lifesaving aid to children around the world. Here are just a few examples of the impact you’ll find throughout this report:

Two boys sitting at their desks in a classroom smile at the camera while raising their white writing pads.
Safe learning spaces for children displaced by conflict in Gaza and Jordan.
