The UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre in our global Office of Research is the main research arm of UNICEF. Our research is used by those who seek to advance humanity by advancing progress for children. The Centre drives original research and pioneers the development of data to monitor the changing situation of children; highlight the chronic and continuing gaps in child-related data and well-being; support and expand efforts to fill these gaps; stimulate debate; and influence policy decisions in favour of children.
