Thank you for making your school a UNICEF Halloween Hero School – we hope you had a blast! Your heroic efforts will go a long way in helping the most disadvantaged children around the world.
Have you successfully submitted the donations your school collected?
To induct your school into the Hall of Heroes, the donations need to be transferred to UNICEF Canada. This is the bit that really makes the difference in helping more children all over the world grow up happy, healthy, and able to play. Just like children should.
Get your funds in before November 30, 2019 to unlock additional contest entries to bring GForce to your school. If you are submitting cheque or cash donations, tell us the total amount online first so we can make sure your school gets all of its entries in on time!
To tell us your final donation amount, login to your fundraising page’s dashboard, click “Enter Donation” under the “Fundraise” tab, and fill out the details required.
Your fundraising page will remain open to collect funds until the end of November.
Ways to submit Halloween Hero funds to UNICEF Canada for schools:
- Mail a cheque payable to UNICEF Canada along with a filled out donation form to:

- Deposit cash donations at any CIBC branch with a deposit slip. See an example with UNICEF Canada’s account details here.
- To get your school’s unique ID number, email a request to firstname.lastname@example.org with the email subject line “Halloween Cash Donations” and include the amount of funds raised.
