More than 1,000 babies to be born on New Year’s Day in Canada, says UNICEF

Approximately 1,062 babies will be born in Canada on New Year’s Day, UNICEF said today. Canadian babies will account for 0.27 per cent of the estimated 385,793 babies to be born globally on New Year’s Day.
