Although education in Mali has been improving over the last decade, more than two million children between ages 5–17 still do not go to school. In 2019, B2Gold entered into a partnership with UNICEF to address these challenges and provide a better future for children, especially girls, in the Kenieba district.

Yemen receives 360,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses through the COVAX Facility

Today, Yemen received 360,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses shipped via the COVAX Facility, a partnership between the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO).

On 31 March 2021, the first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines for the COVAX Facility arrived at Aden International Airport in Yemen.
