UNICEF Canada welcomes historic federal government's global commitment to health care for women and children

UNICEF Canada warmly applauds the Government of Canada’s decision to increase its commitment to support the health of women, adolescents, children and newborns around the world over the next 10 years. This significant announcement, made today at the international Women Deliver 2019 conference, supports the Thrive Agenda – an advocacy initiative spear-headed by a diverse group of organizations, including UNICEF Canada, calling on Canada to take a stronger leadership role in promoting the health and rights of the world's most marginalized people.
