UNICEF

In times of crisis, children are especially vulnerable to disease, malnutrition and violence. Children living in conflict areas are even worse off. It takes much preparation to support a country affected by a rapid-onset or long-term crisis.  Your ongoing support enables UNICEF to be there for families and children in need and we rely entirely on voluntary donations to do this.

Help us create more stories of survival by donating monthly.

Did you know? Children living in countries in armed conflict situations are more likely to be living in extreme poverty. They are more likely to die before their fifth birthday. And children who survive to primary-school age may not be able to go to school. Half of all populations that are without sanitation and safe drinking water live in countries affected by conflict.

With the support of monthly donors, UNICEF reaches these children – focusing on the essential interventions needed for their protection, to save their lives and to ensure their rights and the rights of all children. The chaos and insecurity of war threatens or destroys access to food, shelter, social support and healthcare, and it is children who suffer most..

In these countries, UNICEF’s work is about more than providing aid. It’s about rebuilding, and giving people the skills to create an infrastructure that is self-sustaining.  This kind of support requires consistent funding – the kind of funding that only monthly donors can provide.

Your monthly donation saves lives today, tomorrow and every day after.
