Digital Education in Timor-Leste

In Timor-Leste, the first case of COVID-19 was declared on March 21 and by March 28, the government announced a state of emergency, resulting in the closure of many services including schools. With support from UNICEF, children in Timor-Leste are taking their education online, to keep learning in spite of school closures.
