UNICEF Canada has been conducting door-to-door fundraising campaigns across the country since 2004. These campaigns are part of UNICEF’s fundraising strategy to create awareness, and to empower Canadians to advance the rights of every child, everywhere.
A diverse group of leaders from the medical, legal and business communities, the UNICEF Canada Board of Directors exercises overall responsibility for the policies, programs and direction of the organization and provides advice and counsel on a broad range of policy and operational matters.
Six-month-old Eyenga was one of thousands of children in the 42 districts of Cameroon who received the vaccine against malaria this year. The vaccine is part of the routine vaccination. Each child will have to receive 4 doses from the time they’re six months until they reach their second birthday.
